Brand assets

When it comes to branding, it's important to be consistent across all platforms, both digital and physical. The use of templates for items such as printed materials ensures a consistent look and feel. In this section, we will detail the templates available and any considerations when using them.

Letterheads

The Foundation's letterhead is an official representation of our communications. We use a Microsoft Word template to aid usability and ensure consistent use.

As non-system fonts can't be embedded in files, we use Calibri as a system typeface in place of Hanken Grotesk. This ensures that the file can be viewed as intended without the need for the viewer to have the Foundation fonts installed.

Business cards

When it comes to connecting with stakeholders, business cards are often the first point of contact for the Foundation. To ensure consistency across all cards, a template is used that incorporates the logo, contact information, brand colours and brand pattern.

In these examples, you will see how the brand icon has been used to calculate sizing and spacing, either 100% or 50% of the icon width or height, depending on the overall layout.

Signage

For plaques, site boards, hoardings, and permanent signs:

  • Signage must be easily readable from a minimum of five metres

  • Signage must meet the following minimum sizes (including exclusion zones): Large format site boards and hoardings – 300 mm high
Permanent signs – 150 mm high

  • For acrylic signs we recommend using Blue 751 acrylic with the white logo
